My grandma makes a cameo! Haha, just kidding, sorta...I used a picture of her to draw Vicki's face.
Please remember that the time between Aeolus's death and now has been about 2 weeks in the comic. Pallet is still recovering. Broly is handling it differently.

Aww, that was sweet. >w<

I hope Vito introduces himself with his name when she actually runs into him in the end. That would be one hell of a missed opportunity otherwise. xD

I don't have the battle with him in my notes, but I can easily add in an encounter. :D

Yes, add him! :dummy: When I first played Ruby as an impressionable child, I found it very affecting to actually meet him and remember the hard battles with his family. ;w;

It was an an amazing call back. I even loved it when he showed up in the show.

This is a nice page.  I like your clean linework, and you put a lot of work into your coloring and shading.  Also, some of the poses were very well-done (in particular, her dynamic pose in panel 2 and the over-the-shoulder look in panel 7 stick out to me).  I found it easy to look at and easy to read due your choices of composition within panels and the simple layout of the page.  It's excellent work.

If you're looking to improve, though, you might look to your backgrounds.  I'm not saying you should treat them with more time or detail.  Quite the opposite, in fact.  Hoenn is a lush, beautiful region with bright colors, dense forests, and vibrant plant life.  Unfortunately, this sometimes leads to the background overpowering the characters (especially since your protagonist and two teammates are green).  I have found that by toning down the contrast of the background, avoiding distracting details, darkening it, or pushing the colors more toward cool side of the color wheel, I can get characters to pop more.  This can help to direct the reader's eye where you want it to be.

Thing is this is Route 111. It's a fairly mountainous and rocky part of Hoenn since it's located by the desert as well as Mt. Chimney. I understand that Hoenn is a tropical region, but this part isn't.

Sorry, perhaps I misspoke.  I wasn't meaning to say that you were overdoing the green.  I meant to say that because much Hoenn is so green, it can be easy to let that overpower the characters and foreground.
